Eric Carmen war ein US-amerikanischer Sänger, Songschreiber, Gitarrist und Pianist. Bekannt wurde er ab den frühen 1970er-Jahren als Sänger der Raspberries; seine größten Erfolge als Solokünstler waren die Lieder All by Myself und Hungry Eyes.
Eric Howard Carmen (August 11, 1949 – March 11, 2024) was an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was the lead vocalist of the Raspberries, with whom he recorded the hit "Go All the Way" [2] and four albums.

The group's "classic" lineup consisted of Eric Carmen (vocalist/guitarist/bassist/pianist), Wally Bryson (guitarist), Dave Smalley (guitarist/bassist) and Jim Bonfanti (drummer). Their best known songs include "Go All the Way", "Let's Pretend", "I Wanna Be with You", "Tonight", and "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)".
