Green Lantern (im deutschsprachigen Raum früher auch Grüne Laterne und Grüne Leuchte) ist ein Comicheld aus den US-amerikanischen DC Comics. Die erste Green Lantern wurde von dem Autor Bill Finger und dem Zeichner Martin Nodell erschaffen und hatte ihren ersten Auftritt im Juli des Jahres 1940 in All-American Comics #16.
