John Robert Hiatt (born August 20, 1952) is an American singer-songwriter. [1] [2] He has played a variety of musical styles on his albums, including new wave , blues , and country . Hiatt has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards [3] and has been awarded a variety of other distinctions in the music industry.
John Hiatt nahm erneut Solo-Alben auf, die aber, wie gewohnt, allenfalls mittlere Hitparadenplätze erreichten. Er wechselte 1995 zum Capitol-Label. Erneut wurden qualitativ gute Alben veröffentlicht, denen aber der große Verkaufserfolg versagt blieb. Auch ein Wechsel zu Vanguard im Jahr 2000 brachte nicht den kommerziellen Durchbruch.
