Crazy Eyes is the fifth studio album (and sixth album overall) released by the American country rock band Poco. Released in 1973, Crazy Eyes was the band's final album with founding member Richie Furay during his original tenure in Poco.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Richie Furay, but instead of taking a look back at his work with Buffalo Springfield or Poco, we thought we’d instead dig a little bit deeper and delve into the two albums he did in the mid-1970s with Chris Hillman and J.D. Souther.
Curiously, it's also one of a handful of examples of their use of outside help, including Chris Hillman on mandolin. The resulting sound is richer than anything found on any other Poco album, and the only tragedy is that the band reportedly cut enough tracks for two whole albums — one longs to hear the material that remained in the can.
