Jamie Muir (born 30 November 1942 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish painter and former musician, best known for his work as the percussionist in King Crimson from 1972–1973, appearing prominently on their fifth album Larks' Tongues In Aspic.

Jamie Muir was a member of King Crimson for five months in 1972, influencing the band's music and style with his avant-garde approach and found objects. He left the band to pursue a spiritual life in a Buddhist monastery, and later returned to music and painting.

He played various found instruments, such as a bicycle frame and a toy, on the album Larks' Tongues in Aspic, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023.
