Harry Rushakoff (born November 16, 1958) is a former drummer for the band Concrete Blonde. He started his career in Chicago, playing with The Nodes and then with Special Affect (which featured Ministry's Al Jourgensen and My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult's Groovie Mann.
In 1985 drummer Marti Frederiksen left the band to be replaced by Harry Rushakoff, who later joined Concrete Blonde. [1] [3] Following internal re-shuffling and management issues Geffen Records dropped the group in 1986. The band continued to write and perform for a year but ultimately disbanded.
They were notable for comprising the earliest-known recordings of future Ministry founder Al Jourgensen, future My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult vocalist Frank Nardiello, future Concrete Blonde drummer Harry Rushakoff, and bassist Martin Sorenson.
