The Darby Crash Band was a music project started by Darby Crash and Pat Smear, founding members of Los Angeles punk rock band the Germs, formed after the Germs split in 1980. They recruited bassist David "Bosco" Danford and Circle Jerks drummer Lucky Lehrer and began playing shows in Los Angeles.
Jan Paul Beahm (better known by his stage name Darby Crash, formerly Bobby Pyn; September 26, 1958 – December 7, 1980) was an American singer who, along with longtime friend Pat Smear (born Georg Ruthenberg), co-founded the punk rock band the Germs and was best known as their lead vocalist.
Darby Crash (* 26. September 1958 in Los Angeles; † 7. Dezember 1980 in Hollywood, Kalifornien; eigentlich Jan Paul Beahm, zuvor Bobby Pyn) war ein US-amerikanischer Punkrock musiker. Er war 1977 Mitbegründer der Punkband Germs und bis kurz vor seinem Tod deren Frontmann und Leadsänger.

When the Germs went on hiatus in 1980, Darby started his own band dubbed simply Darby Crash Band, which featured Circle Jerks drummer Lucky Lehrer. The Darby Crash Band only played a few live shows and never released an album.
