"In the Pouring Rain:" Great guitar followed by Annie Lennox's ethereal voice mixed with Geldolf's trademark bright, danceable melodies and dark lyrics produce one of many fascinating gems. "August Was a Heavy Month" is a heartbreaker without drooping into sentimentality.
Deep in the Heart of Nowhere features a host of name performers ranging from Midge Ure (Ultravox) to Brian Setzer (Stray Cats) to Eric Clapton lending a hand.
