東北福祉大学 （とうほくふくしだいがく、 英語 : Tohoku Fukushi University ）は、〒981-8522 宮城県 仙台市 青葉区 国見 一丁目8番1号に本部を置く 日本 の 私立大学 。 1875年 創立、 1962年 大学設置。 大学の略称 は東福大（とうふくだい）、TFU。 県内では福祉大と呼ばれることが多い。 概要[編集] 大学全体[編集] 1875年 （ 明治 8年）に 昌傳庵 に設立された 曹洞宗 専門支校が前身であり、 駒澤大学 や 愛知学院大学 、 鶴見大学 とは姉妹校である。 その経緯から校内には坐禅堂があり、座禅が必修となっている。
