Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) The B.A. program provides the intellectual discipline of biophysics and biochemistry for students who wish to have sufficient time for in-depth studies outside the major or who are interested in molecular biology as part of a liberal education and may not wish to go on to graduate work in any of the natural sciences.

  7. To qualify for the bachelor’s degree, B.A. or B.S., a student must successfully complete thirty-six term courses in Yale College or their equivalent. In doing so, the student must fulfill the distributional requirements of Yale College and the requirements of a major program.
