The Legend and the Legacy is a compilation album by American country singer Ernest Tubb, released in 1979. The initial release was issued on LP as The Legend and the Legacy Volume 1. It was released on First Generation Records, but due to legal issues, was withdrawn and released on Cachet Records.
Biography. Charlie Rich was an amazingly talented musician. The best. He was the master of so many genres it’s difficult for fans to get an accurate take on the man behind the music. Charles Allan Rich (December 14, 1932 – July 25, 1995) was an American country singer. His eclectic style of music also blended influences from rockabilly, jazz, blues, soul, and gospel. [1] In the later part of his life, Rich acquired the nickname the Silver Fox.
