All applicants must audition on their principal instrument (or voice) and will write an entrance exam in theory and ear training. Links to audition requirements for all instruments and sample entrance exams can be found on the Music Website. Music 551-004-VA is highly recommended.
Vanier College (French: Collège Vanier) is an English-language public college located in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1970 as the second English-language public college of Quebec's public college system, after Dawson College .
Established in 1970, Vanier College is one of the 48 public CEGEPs in the province and is the second-largest English-language College in the public collegiate system of Quebec. Vanier offers more than 25 programs in two-year pre-university courses apart from the three-year technical courses.
Vanier College offers 25 pre-university and career programs, language courses and training services. It has a caring environment and a vibrant community near the campus.
Cégep Vanier is a public, English-language cégep that offers pre-university and technical programs, as well as short programs, language courses, and continuing education. It is located in a lively neighbourhood of Montreal’s Saint-Laurent borough, easily accessible by public transit and car.
