As a national model for best practices, the A. Sophie Rogers School for Early Learning provides high-quality, research-based education and child care to young children with a commitment to diversity, inclusion and social justice.
We provide education to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, the most critical period of a person’s life, through year-round, all-day programming and home visiting. By providing accessible care to families, we reduce financial and professional barriers to overcoming poverty.
Our early learning centers are the cornerstone of the work we do. We serve children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years at our five child care facilities in the Near East and Linden neighborhoods of Columbus.
Our center provides an excellent preschool class for older toddlers and younger pre-kindergartners. The teacher’s focus is to encourage faith development, self independence, creativity, socialization and language acquisition by participating in skills such as arts and crafts and music.
