14. Apr. 2015 · Learn about the history and legacy of Heatwave, a multi-racial and multi-ethnic band that produced disco hits like "Boogie Nights" and "Always and Forever". Guitarist Jesse Whitten was killed before the band recorded their first album, but his name inspired their moniker.
They were paired in the studio with GTO house producer/session guitarist Barry Blue and rhythm guitarist Jesse Whitten. Rhythm guitarist Roy Carter replaced Whitten after Whitten was stabbed to death. They began creating their first album Too Hot to Handle in the autumn of 1976.

2. Sept. 2018 · Police officer Jesse Whitten met a pregnant homeless woman on patrol and later adopted her baby girl, Harlow. The Whittens share their story of joy and heartbreak with CBS San Francisco.
Jesse Whitten had been stabbed to death, Mantese was stabbed leaving a gala in London by an unknown person. For several minutes, he was clinically dead. Following several months, he awoke from coma, and was blind, mute and completely paralysed.
