Career highlights. Pre Season Premiership 2004. Sources: AFL Tables, AustralianFootball.com. Matthew John Maguire (born 30 May 1984) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with the St Kilda Football Club and the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Maguire has been a member of the Slave Pit since 1991 (with a few breaks to focus on other projects), debuting on Gwar tours in 1992 and becoming the band's stage manager in 1996. He has played many characters and gone under a number of names, including Mattron, MX2, and most recently Sawborg Destructo.

As such, I recently enjoyed the pleasure of interviewing Matt Maguire of Gwar. He kindly gave up some time to talk about the forthcoming film as well as the band and his own background.
