It was also announced that Clint Schnase would be returning to the band in order for previous drummer Symington to focus on recording and touring with Sparta. The album also features contributions from cellist Megan Seibe, who had previously toured alongside Kasher in an acoustic duo mode.
For the first time since Happy Hollow, the album reunites Kasher, guitarist/singer Ted Stevens and bassist Matt Maginn with founding drummer Clint Schnase, as well as co-producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, M. Ward, Jenny Lewis) at ARC Studios in Omaha.
30. Okt. 2018 · New gear from TAMA, Zildjian, and Vic Firth! On October 5, the Omaha-based indie rock group Cursive released the eighth studio album in their twenty-plus-year career. For the effort, Cursive reunited with founding drummer Clint Schnase, who last put his stamp on the group’s 2006 release, Happy Hollow.
Die Band wurde 1995 von Tim Kasher (Gesang, Gitarre), Matt Maginn (Bass, Gesang), Clint Schnase (Schlagzeug) und dem Gitarrist Steve Pedersen, welcher jedoch später durch Ted Stevens ersetzt wurde, gegründet. Mit der EP Burst & Bloom (2001) stieß die Cellistin Gretta Cohn hinzu, die im August 2005 die Band wieder verlassen hat.
