Thomas Carl Chaminda Hedlund (born 13 May 1980) is a Swedish drummer. He is currently the drummer for Swedish post-metal band Cult of Luna and Swedish indie rock band Deportees as well as the session and live drummer for French indie pop band Phoenix.

8. Aug. 2016 · Over the past 20 years, Thomas Hedlund has built a genre-spanning career on the foundation of that idea. The native Swede is most famous as the drummer in post-metal icon Cult of Luna and festival headliner Phoenix.
Thomas Hedlund. Phoenix, Deportees, Cult of Luna, Khoma. Thomas is based in Umeå, a pretty remote town in Northern Scandinavia. He started out playing drums as a kid, although his focus at that time was more on sports. His drum teacher at the time, Göran Teljebäck, had also been teaching David Sandström (of Refused) and Morgan Ågren.
