The Man of Many Voices. John Tarangelo A.K.A. “Johnny T”, was born in the Bronx, New York in 1954. Singing since he was 9 years old, his impressive tenor voice, eventually got him recognized, and by the age of 13 he was asked to join his first organized Doo Wop group.
Biography. JOHNNY TARANGELO. The Man of Many Voices, Johnny T, was born in the Bronx in 1954. He was not there to witness the original wave of Rock 'n' Roll and Doo Wop, but he managed to become involved with the resurgence from 1972 to the present.
Johnny T began his career in 2006, performing in front of a packed house at the French Quarter in Nashville. Johnny T preformed a college tour of 60+ shows across the southeastern US and is currently playing night after night to packed-out clubs across the Southeast and Midwest.
