Cactus is an American rock band formed in 1969. It is currently comprising Jimmy Kunes as lead singer, guitarist Paul Warren, drummer Carmine Appice, bassist Jimmy Caputo and Randy Pratt on harmonica. [1] [2] History. Original lineup and initial run (1969–1972)
Jimmy Kunes is a versatile and experienced rock singer, songwriter and musician who has worked with various bands and projects, including Savoy Brown, Cactus, Humble Pie and National Wrecking Company. He has also co-written songs, performed at WWE events, and released solo albums with renowned collaborators.
Jimmy Kunes has fronted, recorded and toured with Savoy Brown, Kim Simmonds Band, and Silent Partner(ex-RIOT members). More recent projects include the debut Flood The Engine album (2013), American Mafia (2014), “American Rock Celebration” with Dennis Dunaway, founder member of The Alice Cooper Group. (2015), National Wrecking Company (2019) and New Decade with Greg Di Benedetto in 2021.

2. Apr. 2021 · Tightrope is a 2021 rock album by Cactus, a band led by drummer Carmine Appice and vocalist Jimmy Kunes. The album includes a cover of \"Papa Was A Rolling Stone\" and guest appearances from original members Jim McCarty and Pete Bremy.
The 2006 version of Cactus saw original members Appice, Bogert and McCarty reunited and joined by former Savoy Brown frontman Jimmy Kunes on vocals, filling in for the late original Cactus singer Rusty Day.
21. Mai 2021 · In 2006 Appice, Bogert, and McCarty reformed the band with Jimmy Kunes on vocals (Day had been murdered in ’82), and added Randy Pratt on harmonica. Bogert retired in 2008, and sadly passed away in January of this year. After 2016’s Black Dawn, McCarty would retire, and in 2017 guitarist Paul Warren joined.
