Matthew Richard Quinn (born 28 February 1993) is a New Zealand born cricketer who plays for Kent County Cricket Club. Quinn was born in New Zealand and played for Auckland, making his List A cricket debut in February 2013 in the 2012–13 Ford Trophy. At the end of 2015, he signed a three-year contract with Essex County Cricket Club.
Mt. Joy started off as a rekindling of shared musical ambitions between Philadelphia high school friends Matt Quinn (vocals, guitar) and Sam Cooper (guitar). Reunited in Los Angeles thanks to the ebbs and flows of adult life, the pair met multi-instrumentalist Michael Byrnes through a Craigslist ad.
Mt. Joy is an American five-piece indie rock band based in Los Angeles with roots in Philadelphia. They consist of members Matt Quinn (vocals, guitar), Sam Cooper (guitar), Sotiris Eliopoulos (drums), Jackie Miclau (keyboards), and Michael Byrnes (bass).
Matt Quinn is a right-arm medium fast bowler who has played for Auckland, Essex and Kent. He was New Zealand's leading wicket-taker at the 2012 U19 World Cup and took 7 for 76 for Essex in 2016.
