Martina Gillian Topley-Bird (née Topley; born 7 May 1975) is an English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who first gained fame as the featured female vocalist on trip hop pioneer Tricky's debut album, Maxinquaye (1995).

Leben und Karriere. Bekannt wurde sie 1995 durch ihre Zusammenarbeit mit Tricky auf dessen Debütalbum Maxinquaye. Auf dem Booklet wurde sie allerdings wegen eines Tippfehlers als Martine aufgeführt. Auch auf Trickys nächsten zwei Alben arbeitete sie mit ihm zusammen. 1998 ging ihre künstlerische wie private Beziehung auseinander.
