  7. Prince Albert Victor was the first son of Prince Edward Albert and Princess Alexandra of Wales. He was created the Duke of Clarence and Avondale in 1890. He was expected to marry Mary, Princess of Teck in February 1892 but in January of that year, he became ill and died of influenza on the 14th January at Sandringham House in Norfolk.
