  2. About Us. Heighington CE Primary School is situated on the outskirts of the village of Heighington, near Newton Aycliffe. Our school has a very good reputation within the locality, to the extent that some children travel from surrounding towns and villages to attend. At present, we have around 230 children on roll.

  3. Heighington CE Primary School is a Church of England primary school with academy status located in the village of Heighington, near Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. As of 2016 it educated 279 pupils aged 4–11. At its Ofsted inspection in 2019, it was classed as a ‘good’ school. The headmaster since 1995 has been Neil Parker.
