6. Dez. 2022 · 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 Morgan as Hybrid Kids - “their" 2nd album - a Christmas album (Santa Claws… let’s put the “ " back in mas!!!). Recorded in 1980 in Morgan's Pipe Studios (a Notting HIll bedsit) on an 8-track TEAC.
Having turned his hand to deconstructing pop-songs, and miniaturisation, Morgan Fisher filtered Christmas thru' his warped brain. A mixture of traditional tunes and his own compositions, and for anyone disillusioned with most pop music, it works a treat.
A sequel, a Christmas album called Claws, came out in 1980. Fisher's first foray into ambient music came out the same year, the sublime Slow Music in which he looped and processed a performance by sax supremo Lol Coxhill.
