Juli 2020 · Before Suburban Light, the band made an album’s worth of demos in guitarist and songwriter Innes Phillips’ attic, defending themselves against frequent parental protests with the claim that what they were doing was art. Their subsequent rejection letter from Sub Pop is still lovingly preserved.
