The Human Beinz ( / ˈbiːɪnz / BEE-inz) is an American rock band from Youngstown, Ohio. Originally known as The Premiers, the band initially featured John Richard "Dick" Belley (vocals, guitar), Joe "Ting" Markulin (vocals, guitar), Mel Pachuta (vocals, bass), and Gary Coates (drums), later replaced by Mike Tatman.

Mel Pachuta. My name is John Melvin Pachuta. Since my dads name is John Bernard Pachuta my friends and family call me Mel. My grandfathers name was Joseph. The only thing I know about where the Pachuta family came from is that my dad was baptized at St. Mary's in Homestead Pa.
Mel Pachuta was the only bass player to play on our recordings, period. Dick Belley was the only lead singer and lead guitar player to play on our recordings, period . I (Ting) played rhythm guitar on all but one song "Close Your Eyes" .
The Human Beingz actually began in 1964, when the original members - Mel Pachuta, Gary Coates, Dick Belley and Ting Markulin - all from the Youngstown, Ohio area, ended up in the same group known as "The Premiers."
