Sky Murder. Summaries. A body is found in a locked airplane compartment and a German female refugee is a suspect. Passenger detective Nick Carter is convinced she didn't do it and works to solve the mysterious murder. Pat Evans is a German expatriate who is loyal to her new adopted home, the United States.
George B. Seitz. Director. William R. Lipman. Screenplay. This final Carter film is a lot of fun, with Nick (unwillingly, at first) taking on a ring of Fifth Columnists (since this was filmed before the US entered the war, we're not told the villains are Nazis, but it's pretty clear anyway).
