Ashton Sixth Form College (commonly referred to as ASFC) is an 'Outstanding' sixth form college in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester. Founded in 1928 as Ashton-under-Lyne Grammar School, the college has an acceptance rate of 28% (2021).
A college with over 40 years of education in the area, offering A level and vocational programmes for 16-19 year olds and adult learners. The college is Outstanding by Ofsted and has a vision of transforming lives through learning.
Enrolment is when you officially join as an Ashton Sixth Form College student. There are a number of stages to your appointment including meeting your enroller, confirming you meet the entry requirements, a conversation about your course choices and having your photo taken for your college ID membership card.
