    Wells Kelly (April 7, 1949 – October 28, 1984) was an American pop and soft rock drummer. Kelly was born in New Orleans in 1949. He grew up in New York. His father, Burnham Kelly, was a dean of architecture at Cornell University. He was one of six siblings, including older brother Sherman Kelly, who Wells worked with in the 1970s.
