Edwin Jobson (born 28 April 1955) is an English musician noted for his use of synthesizers. He has been a member of several progressive rock bands, including Curved Air , Roxy Music , U.K. and Jethro Tull .
Eddie Jobson biography. This dynamic rock violinist has played with everyone from UK, ROXY MUSIC, and Frank ZAPPA to JETHRO TULL. Jobson's recordings as a leader showed much promise in their use of keyboards, computer-generated sounds, and wailing electric-violin solos.

30. Nov. 2017 · A professional musician since his teens, after filling roles vacated by violinist Darryl Way and keyboardist Francis Monkman in Curved Air in 1973, multi-instrumentalist Eddie Jobson went on to work with Roxy Music, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, UK and Jethro Tull.
Jobson headlined the 2011 Zappanale festival on August 21 in Bad Doberan, Germany, and played an earlier gig in Zoetermeer, Netherlands on August 19, with a U-Z project lineup of Marc Bonilla (vocals/bass), Alex Machacek (guitar) and Marco Minnemann (drums).
