Session 1: Session 2: Open the Debates was proud to co-host the Free & Equal Election Foundation’s first-ever #OpenPresidentialDebate during the primary process, March 4, in Chicago, IL, featuring 18 presidential candidates representing 10 different political affiliations.
In that spirit, Free & Equal Elections Foundation hosted its first Open Presidential Debate of the 2020 US Presidential election at the Hilton Chicago Hotel on March 4, 2020 at 2pm CST. The debate addressed many criticisms of recent presidential debates, including frustrating formats, irrelevant questions, and heavy-handed candidate exclusions.
