Una McLean MBE (1930–) is a Scottish actress and comedian. Early life. Una McLean was born in Strathaven and brought up in Larkhall. She attended Larkhall Academy and her first stage appearance was in a school play. Then, at the age of 15, she was invited to a party by a local amateur group and she joined their society.
