He is the son of actors Raymond Francis and his second wife Margaret Towner. [1] His father played Detective Chief Superintendent Tom Lockhart in the 1960s series No Hiding Place.
Clive Francis is a British actor who has appeared in films such as A Clockwork Orange, Official Secrets, and The Lost City of Z. He is also a caricaturist and the author of Laugh Lines, a book of humorous drawings.

Clive began adapting for the stage in 2002 with his one-man show of A Christmas Carol (see trailer). This was followed with The Lavender Hill Mob, Three Men in a Boat, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Our Man in Havana, The Loved One, Alice the Musical! Thark and Susan Hill’s, The Small Hand.
