Daniel Lee Harris was a promising hurdler who won a silver medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and defeated Edwin Moses in 1987. He struggled with drug addiction and rehab, but later recovered and earned his college degree.
Biography. Danny Harris was a phenom who won a silver medal in the 400 metre hurdles at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics when he was only 18-years-old, trailing only legendary hurdler Edwin Moses. So much was expected of him and he backed this up with another silver at the 1987 World Championships.
