Don't underestimated the power of tammy gambill. Yes, her skaters perform poor internationally. Yes, she has little ability to produce a good jumper. Yes, if there is a carrot famine, I think she could save the country. But, she also currently has 2 of the top 4 ranked skaters in USA, 1. Amber and 2.

Tammy was favored before going to CS, but she’s gotten even more benefit of the doubt since moving there. Tom Z and Dalilah always had a ton of power by coaching there. And skaters have moved there to train to get into the favor of USFS forever. Coaches like Kori Ade do it too.
