Julio Velasco (La Plata, 9 febbraio 1952) è un dirigente sportivo e allenatore di pallavolo argentino naturalizzato italiano, commissario tecnico della nazionale femminile italiana.
Velasco trainierte die Italienische Volleyballnationalmannschaft der Männer von 1989 bis 1996. Unter ihm gewann sie Silber bei den Olympischen Spielen 1996 , zwei Weltmeisterschaften (1990 und 1994), drei Europameisterschaften (1989, 1993 und 1995), einen World Cup (1995) und fünf Weltliga-Titel (1990, 1991, 1992, 1994 und 1995).
Julio Velasco (born 9 February 1952) is an Argentine former professional volleyball player and coach. He's had Italian citizenship obtained in 1992. Velasco was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2005. Velasco currently serves as a sports director for the Italian Volleyball Federation.
