David Patrick Griffin (born 25 May 1945), known professionally as Dave Lee Travis, is an English former disc jockey, and former television presenter. Travis began his broadcasting career on the pirate radio station Radio Caroline in 1965.

The former Radio 1 DJ was cleared of 12 charges of indecent assault in the first trial by Operation Yewtree, which investigated historic sex abuse cases. His legal team claimed he was a scapegoat for the failure to catch Jimmy Savile, while prosecutors said they would decide on a retrial for two charges.
