Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles is an American CGI animated television series based on the 1959 novel Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein and the 1997 movie adaptation. The film's director, Paul Verhoeven, served as executive producer.
Starship Troopers (Alternativtitel: Starship Troopers Chronicles, Originaltitel: Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles) ist eine US-amerikanische Animationsserie von 1999, basierend auf dem Roman Starship Troopers von Robert A. Heinlein. Produzenten waren Paul Verhoeven sowie Richard Raynis.
Nach seiner Genesung werden Dizzy, Rico und ihr Freund Ace zu einer neuen Einheit versetzt, den Roughnecks. Das Kommando hat ihr ehemaliger Lehrer Rasczak. Rico bewährt sich abermals und wird zum Sergeant befördert. Rico und Dizzy kommen sich nun doch noch näher.

The Roughneck Two-Zero, or simply Roughnecks, is a Mobile Infantry unit that served in many battles against the Arachnids in the Bug Wars. The unit was originally lead by Lieutenant Jean Rasczak.
