Saute Ma Ville (1968, 13 min. Länge) Akermans erster Film, in dem sie mit ihren jungen 18 Jahren nicht nur Regie führte, sondern auch die Hauptrolle übernahm. Doch eigentlich existieren im Film neben dem von Akerman gespielten Charakter keine weitere Figuren – die Handlung ist ebenso minimalistisch, bzw. nicht wirklich relevant.
