The Pure Hell of St Trinian's is a 1960 British comedy film directed by Frank Launder and starring Cecil Parker, George Cole, Joyce Grenfell and Eric Barker. It was written by Launder and Sidney Gilliat and set in the fictional St Trinian's School. It was the third in a series of four films.

The fourth form monsters' latest trick is their best ever – they have burned down St Trinian’s school! As the girls stand trial, the police breathe a sigh of relief, but miraculously the judge's infatuation with a student means the school is freed.
Canford is in fact secretly working for a sultan, who wants the sixth form girls for his harem. When they protest, Flash Harry and Ruby Gates are cast adrift in a lifeboat, together with Canford, and end up stranded on a desert island.
