The RISD Museum is the only comprehensive art museum in southeastern New England, with a collection of over 100,000 works from diverse cultures and periods. It offers exhibitions, lectures, tours, workshops and publications for RISD and the broader community.
HOURS: TUE, WED, FRI, SAT, SUN 10am - 5pm, THU 12 - 8pm. The museum is closed on June 19th, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Admission is free on Sundays from 10am - 5pm and Thursday evenings from 5 - 8pm. Purchase advanced tickets here.
The Rhode Island School of Design Museum—which houses the school's art and design collections—is one of the largest college art museums in the United States.
