Arab Strap sind eine einflussreiche 1995 gegründete britische Indie-Rock-Band aus Falkirk, Schottland. Sie besteht aus Aidan Moffat (Gesang) und Malcolm Middleton (u. a. Gitarre, Bass, Piano). Ihr Debütalbum „The Week Never Starts Round Here“ ist im Jahr 1996 über Chemikal Underground ( Mogwai, Emma Pollock, Roky Erickson) erschienen.
