4 Hero. 4hero was formed by Dollis Hill (London, UK) residents, Marc Mac (aka Marc Clair) and Dego (aka Dennis McFarlane), in 1989. They all met whilst studying at college, and founded the pirate station Strong Island FM prior to forming 4 Hero & Reinforced Records.
One of the most celebrated drum & bass acts to emerge from the U.K. rave scene, 4Hero is comprised of producers Dego McFarlane and Mark Clair. The pair joined forces in the mid-‘80s around a shared love of underground hip-hop and involvement with London’s pirate radio scene.
