Ed Neumeister (born 1952) is a composer and jazz trombonist. He was born in Topeka, Kansas. An early 2000s collaboration with Jay Clayton and Fritz Pauer was released as the album 3 for the Road.
Trombonist, composer, producer Ed Neumeister has composed for various classical and jazz ensembles in the US, Europe, South America, Australia and Israel and performed extensively around the World. Based in New York he is active as a composer, performer & educator.
Ed Neumeister debuts his first solo unaccompanied trombone album, a highly anticipated release for a musical luminary. Truly a master on his instrument, he has created a rare and unique voice, that often evokes the human voice, exploring emotional textures with virtuosity.
