Hitoshi Ueki (植木 等, Ueki Hitoshi, February 25, 1927 – March 27, 2007) was a Japanese actor, comedian, singer, and guitarist. He won six awards for acting. His film credits stretch from 1960 to 1995. Ueki came to fame through the comic jazz-band The Crazy Cats led by Hajime Hana.
植木 等 （うえき ひとし、本名同じ、 1927年 〈 昭和 2年〉 2月25日 [注釈 1] - 2007年 〈 平成 19年〉 3月27日 ）は、 日本 の 俳優 、 コメディアン 、 歌手 、 ギタリスト 、 タレント 。 「 ハナ肇とクレージーキャッツ 」のメンバー。 仲間内での 愛称 は「ボンさん」「植木屋」「植木やん」。 長男 は 作曲家 の 比呂公一 。 妹の夫に 部落問題 研究者の 川村善二郎 。 御木本幸吉 は、父方の祖母の親類にあたる [2] 。 来歴. 1927年 （昭和2年） 2月25日 - 父・ 植木徹誠 、母・いさほの三男として 愛知県 名古屋市 に生まれる [3] 。 父・植木徹誠は、 真宗大谷派名古屋別院 にて 僧侶 としての教修中だった。
