Johan van Oldenbarnevelt ( Amersfoort, 14 september 1547 – Den Haag, 13 mei 1619) was van 1586 tot 1619 raadpensionaris van Holland. Hij was daarmee de belangrijkste bestuurder in de Republiek der Zeven Verenigde Nederlanden. Eerder was hij van 1576 tot 1586 pensionaris van Rotterdam.
