Albert Victor Alexander, 1st Earl Alexander of Hillsborough, KG, CH, PC (1 May 1885 – 11 January 1965) was a British Labour and Co-operative politician. He was three times First Lord of the Admiralty, including during the Second World War, and then Minister of Defence under Clement Attlee.

Albert Victor Alexander was a Labour and Co-operative politician. In 1920 he was made secretary to the Co-operative Congress, the national conference for the British Co-operative Movement; he held this post until 1946. Alexander was elected to Parliament as a Co-operative Party MP in 1922.
