Sir Henry Herbert Juta (12 August 1857 – 16 May 1930) was a South African judge who served as Speaker of the Cape House of Assembly, Judge President of the Cape Provincial Division and judge of the South African Appellate Division.

Am 7. Juni wurde in Traben in Anwesenheit ihres Onkels Lion Philips und Schwagers von ihrer Mutter Henriette Marx die kirchliche Trauung vorgenommen. Am 15. Juni 1853 wurde noch ein notarieller Vertrag in Zaltbommel abgeschlossen, der die schwierigen Verkehrsverhältnisse (die lange Reise nach Südafrika) regeln sollte.
Juta war Notariatskandidat in Zaltbommel und heiratete Louise, eine Tochter von Heinrich Marx am 5. Juni 1853 in Trier und kirchlich am 7. Juni in Traben in Anwesenheit ihres Onkels Lion Philips und Schwagers von ihrer Mutter Henriette Marx.

Sir Henry Juta, Judge President of the Cape from 1914 and Judge of Appeal prior to his retirement. appointed by President Paul Kruger as Johannesburg’s first criminal magistrate (at the age of 19). He rose to become Chief Magistrate of Johannesburg and was a founder of the Rand Club.
