Pietro Gradenigo (* Ende 1250/Anfang 1251 in Venedig; † 13. August 1311 ebenda) war, folgt man der Zählweise der staatlich gesteuerten Geschichtsschreibung der Republik Venedig, ihr 49. Doge. Er regierte von seiner Wahl am 25. November 1289, bzw. von seiner Amtsübernahme am 3. Dezember, bis zu seinem Tod.
Pietro Gradenigo (1251 – 13 August 1311) was the 49th Doge of Venice, reigning from 1289 to his death. When he was elected Doge, he was serving as the podestà of Capodistria in Istria. Venice suffered a serious blow with the Fall of Acre, the last Crusader stronghold in the mainland, to the Mamluks of Egypt in 1291.

Pietro Gradenigo spent most of his life searching for documents about Venice. He frequented libraries and archives and transcribed many papers in his manuscripts with the help of his collaborators. His intention was to protect the historical memory and enhance the glorious past of Venice.
