Francisco Javier Solana de Madariaga (* 14. Juli 1942 in Madrid) ist ein spanischer Politiker. Von 1995 bis 1999 war er Generalsekretär der NATO. As chairman of the North Atlantic Council -- NATO's highest decision-making body comprising high representatives of the 16 member countries -- he coordinates the policy-making process.
